The organisation of unique and special gastronomic experiences, cultural and tourism events and their execution are the aims of this town organisation.
For the town and county residents the nature of gastronomic delights does not only mean something interesting, but something unique that comes from their own region, because the promotion of our far-famed Zala county cuisine (including beverages) and the teaching of their preparation also forms part of their “local patriotic mission”. They focus furthermore on safeguarding the interests of local entrepreneurs and collaborating with an increasing number of public catering units.
Several prominent town events have been organised by them: as well as the Pálinka and Mangalica Pig May Feast and the Oktoberfest Beer Festival- for example, the programmes organised to mark the Town Children’s Day and the programmes at the Egervári Várkastély (Egervári Castle).
