The cinema currently shows a variety of films from popular premiers and blockbusters through to art house films in three daily scheduled performances. Displayed on the ground floor is interesting movie memorabilia from the Golden Age of Cinema including gadgets, mementoes, posters and film reels.
The Art Screen offers a 66 seat air-conditioned theatre with the latest in projection and sound equipment. Like the Art Mozi cinema slogan says, “Old values alive with new technology – that’s our cinema!”
The large 628 seat screen is available to book for other events. It has been used each month for different programmes. Famously in Hungary, the popular clinical psychologist Dr Emőke Bagdy and the renowned psychiatrist Imre Csernus have both been here in educational programmes as well as the Showder comedy club (Showder Klub) entertaining the public on several occasions.
