The Zalaegerszeg Ice Sports Foundation’s purpose is to attract an active interest in synchronised skating and ice hockey in the town of Zalaegerszeg and to raise an awareness of ice sports in a wider audience in the Western Transdanubian region.

The rink expanded the range of sport facilities in the town in 2006. Ice hockey aside, visitors can try other ice sports such as synchronised ice skating. Thanks to the town council, it is possible to have pre-school and young children attend specially organised sessions on weekdays. Discounted admission prices apply for public skate sessions in the evenings and at weekends.
