The Kossuth award-winning actor (1919–1998) spent his childhood in the house in Ady utca (at no. 9), not far from his father’s cinema, the already mentioned Edison mozgó (Edison’s Motion Pictures). In memory of Miklós Gábor a commemorative plaque has been placed on the wall of his birthplace (the work of János Béres). The actor’s wife, Éva Vass Jászai Mari award-winning actress also attended the ceremony.
