Ola once had its own cemetery and chapel. Saint Ann Chapel was built around 1755 and had been maintained initially by the guild of German cobblers (they erected the stone cross in front of the chapel) then the trade association took it over. The small chapel with oval windows caught fire in 1930 due to a lightning strike and its roof was slightly amended during the restoration.
In its immediate vicinity, there is a 22 meters high linden tree estimated to be 200 years old, which was also destroyed by the same lightning. There are some late Baroque tombstones in the cemetery around the chapel from the beginning of the 19th century, preserving the memory of German craftsmen.
