The Hall Cup was firstly organised in 1981 at the Town Sports Stadium. 40 groups entered and participated at the event. Due to this became real winter leisure sport activity. Then 35 years passed away and with a little cease the Hall Cup is the most significant winter indoor football tournament of the region.
Groups can enter in 2 categories: Senior and Adult categories. The event is organised by the Hungarian Football Federation of Zala County. Besides the joy of the game, they offer attractive prizes as well. In both category, the first 3 team get notable bounty. According to the traditions, the winner of the tournament will acquire the travelling trophy besides the 1st Cup. Besides these, the best goalkeeper, the best player and the top scorer get other prizes as well.
