The Egerszegi Sport and Tourist Ltd., established 31 May 2011, is an amalgamation of two well-established companies, Egerszegi Sport Arena and Stadium Ltd. (Egerszegi Sportcsarnok és Stadion Kft.) and the Zalaegerszeg Town Lido and Indoor Swimming Pool Ltd. (Zalaegerszegi Városi Strandfürdő és Fedett Uszoda Kft.).

The main activities of the company owned and operated by the Zalaegerszeg council are: operate sporting facilities such as the Town Sport Stadium (Városi Sportcsarnok/Egerszeg Csarnok), where the company is also based and to host activities such as concerts, cultural events, and exhibitions there; manage the Zalegerszeg Indoor Swimming Pool (Fedett Uszoda), where Olympians Dorina Szekeres and Fanni Illés and the internationally renowned long-distance swimmer Attila Mányoki have all trained.
The company plays a part in tourism to the town operating the AquaCity Water Slide and Adventure Park (AquaCity Vízicsúszda- és Élménypark), which was the most visited water park in Hungary in 2013. In the same year the Egerszeg Information Point (Egerszeg Pont) was created to, among other things, make visits to Aquacity more informative and rewarding.
