Avilai Szent Teréz tiszteletére szentelték fel a templomot Bazitán 1890-ben, mely az 1940-es években, illetve az ’50-es évek végén történt bővítésekkel nyerte el a mai formáját. Jelenkori felújítása az 1990-es években kezdődött el, a kívül-belül megújult, megszépült templomot 2016 januárjában áldotta meg a megyéspüspök.
Udvarát 2003 óta a hunok királya, azaz Attila őrzi – a fából készült szobor helyi mesterember munkája (az alapzaton „N” monogramot láthatunk).
Saint Therese Church
Dedicated to Saint Teresa of Ávila, the church in Bazita was consecrated in 1890. It acquired its current form following enlargements in the 1940s and late 1950s. Its modern restoration began in the 1990s, and the fully renewed interior and exterior were blessed by the diocesan bishop in January 2016.
Since 2003, the churchyard has been watched over by a wooden statue of Attila, King of the Huns, created by a local craftsman, whose monogram “N” is visible on the pedestal.
